The kitchen of Manoli and Mariano was very ugly with Provençal style doors. Very common a few decades ago in many restaurants.

Manoli’s main problem was the little space between the gas hob and the sink. In addition, Manoli wanted to put some rentavaixelles, which so far she didn’t have in her kitchen.

Placing the oven and the microwave upright in a column was also a priority for Manoli and Mariano because until now the microwave occupied a place on the kitchen counter and took up a lot of useful work space. The oven at the base under the hotplate was uncomfortable.

With all these premises to improve we decided to change the current location of the hob and place it on another wall. This way we have created a much larger space between the hob and the sink to be able to work comfortably.

The oven and the microwave are integrated in column to the front wall plus the refrigerator is moved to the same wall. There will be enough space to add a countertop column that allows to substantially enlarge the storage space.

In relocating it all there will be enough space to add a 45 cm.

In short, everything solved!!! all the priorities completed.

Besides the functional issue, the change of furniture to a lighter front gives more light to the general space. The opening is handle-less and gives more lightness to the whole.

The light-colored tile helps to add clarity to the final result.

There was an intervention of a plumber to relocate some light points and to move the gas point.

At first they did not know whether to change the kitchen floor. But in the end they decided to change the general flooring of the kitchen, and they removed the slits in the wall and replaced them with a front panel made of porcelain material resistant to heat and scratches.

The rest of the walls were smoothed and painted to give more clarity to the space and create a less visually cluttered space.

The kitchen furniture is INKO model GOURMET color VELOUTE.

The taulell is of the brand IDYLIUM LINCOLN COLORAT.

The result has improved notably and it is clear that the proposed new distribution is much more efficient and aesthetically brighter.
